Welcome to the official website for the Fractal Assistant fractal generation software.

The aim of this project was (and still is) to create an easy-to-use, highly extensible, and fast implementation of a fractal generation utility, purely in Java.

What's different about Fractal Assistant? Well, for a start, it is completely platform independent. As long as your platform supports Java, you can run Fractal Assistant!

What's new? Version 0.3a has been released - you can download it from the Sourceforge project site. There will be no more releases of this version of the software - Version 2 is in the planning stages, so if you have any suggestions, now is the time to get them in!
