Fractal Assistant 2

Fractal Assistant 2 is currently in the first stages of development, and we are taking ideas for new functionality. It's you, the users that the ideas should come from, so please make yourselves heard. If there is something that we haven't done, and you want it, please let us know! It can't be put in if we don't know about it!!

Currently, the ideas we have are along the lines of:

-  The use of "fracas formula files", for dynamic import and execution of mathematical formulae, and for new iterative formulae.
-  Tool to compile formula files, for increased performance.
-  Completely redesigned GUI - much more user-friendly.
-  Plugin system to facilitate the addition of extra features. This will enable developers to create visual effects, implement new GUI features, change the way the canvas works - almost everything will be configurable!
-  Repository of our favourite formulae to download.
-  Plugin repository.
-  Web-based version for those without a JRE1.2 or above.

If that doesn't whet your appetite, what will?!

This product will be a *competitor*. That means that we will try our best to make it as fast, effective and extensible as possible. Whatever you want to do with it, you will be able to do!
